* Fix Version 26.13c Dualities*
*~ Fixed: Background description for Inventor characters mentions too many ingredients for a Bicycle.
*~ Fixed: Preserved Undeath characters do not require a Horse Corpse to pass the second trial of the Great Artificer.
*~ Changed: Bicycle now has the same stats as a Steppe Horse, but a value of twice as much, and no difficulty.
*~ Changed: Doubled the distance checked for Check Spirit Activity and Check Heavy Metal menus.
*~ Fixed: Undeath characters that start out already burned, boiled or preserved could still burn, boil, or preserve themselves.
*~ Changed: Dueling an Alchemist no longer costs 10000 Denars. Instead, the wager is your corpse, and losing will result in Permadeath.
*~ Changed: Beef no longer has the modifier "Fresh" immediately applied when harvested from slaughtering cattle.
*~ Added: Venison, Pork, Chicken, Raw Fish, Milk, Horse Corpses, Human Corpses, and all dismembered body parts (except the armor pieces) now spoil over time like Beef.
*~ Changed: Venison added to Dried Meat recipe, and Chicken added to Sausages recipe in the Farmer's Almanac.
*~ Added: Characters born on the 15th of Drought Moon will now receive Diamonds at character creation.
*~ Fixed: Convict characters' inventory would not fill entirely with corpses, leaving five spaces.
*~ Fixed: Defeat always resulting in execution for Convict characters, instead of only with Manhunter/Slayer/Alchemist parties.
*~ Fixed: Executions not always triggering when knocked out in combat by Manhunter/Slayer/Alchemist parties, and never at menu surrender (rather than the dialog choice).
*~ Changed: Completely random character choice now skips directly to skill choice screen (or banner selection if appropriate).
*~ Added: Completely mundane character choice, after gender selection. For players who want to start with a generic character - begins the game with An impoverished noble, A page at a nobleman's court, A squire/lady-in-waiting, and Desire for money and power - all unchanged from the Native choices. Skips directly to banner selection.
*~ Fixed: Could select Horse Rendering option for (x5) recipes if inventory was full, even if there are no Horse Corpses in the Inventory.
*~ Fixed: Inventor characters could only be Male.
*~ Added: States of Being - Mortal, Corporeal, and Incorporeal. Every troop in the game will be one of these "races". Most monstrous creatures will be Corporeal, while more fragile undead, shadow creatures, and animals will be considered Incorporeal.

*~ Added: Eggs, Mulberries and Glogg to The Faire.
* Fix Version 26.13b Dualities*
*~ Added new image for discovery of Medusa's Head. This deserved more than a blank menu.
*~ Added a new title logo.
*~ Made the Oubliette chest in the Catacombs in the Dungeon of Praven easier to access.
*~ Gave permadeath screen a more generic description.
*~ Added new music track "Go Lie In Your Grave". Plays on permadeath screen and from Poe's tower.
*~ Replaced cocoon chest in Nightmare Realm with inert scene prop.
*~ Munitions recipe no longer requires Tools as an ingredient, but instead as equipment.
*~ "You spent your early life as... A distiller. (Int+1,Cha+1)" added to character creation. Can use Distilling via Camp menu, with type based on Engineering skill.
*~ Fixed: Crossbow recipe in the Old Cookbook accidentally required a Hunting Crossbow, instead of a Hunting Bow, and did not remove Wood from inventory when made.
*~ Old Cookbook Cartridge recipe no longer requires Tools.
*~ Old Cookbook Flintlock Pistol recipe no longer requires Iron.
*~ Changed description for Maneater health boost trigger to mention a human corpse, rather than human flesh, to prevent confusion.
*~ Heavy Metal Meteorite renamed "Green Meteorite".
*~ Green Meteorite now causes green fog in the two locations where it can be found in the course of the game, during the fight with The Graeae, and also when in the player's inventory.
*~ Fixed: The Infinity Stone would be destroyed if left in the Marshmallow Cauldron.
*~ Added "An Omen!!! (!!!)" option that replaces the "Reroll birthdate. (...)" option during character creation, if any of the three Omens occur - this option is a failsafe to keep from rolling past these very rare signs. Players will have to manually click "Back." if they wish to roll again.
*~ Fixed: Duplicate dialog bug for Maneater Mummers, in Buxworth's dialog.
*~ Material requirements for an Inventor character's Bicycle Making reduced to 1 Wood, and 1 Iron. Fixed description accordingly.
*~ Fixed: Gambling at Thirteen or Stones of Wisdom resulted in a lockup at "stub" menu.
*~ Fixed: Incorrect name reference to Galatea when trying to chop her into pieces made it impossible.
*~ Fixed: The Black Baron does not appear for Antiheroes.
*~ Removed all unused textures.
*~ Fixed: Bug allowing a character to access the door leading to The Happy Boar in Old Zendar, after teleportation, causing menu corruption.
*~ Fixed: Characters who are Antiheroes and also pledged to the Bloodfountain could receive a Changeling if they already have a Familiar.
*~ Fixed: Final mission for non-Archaologist Antihero characters was impossible to complete.
*~ Fixed: No "Leave" button for the Graeae's Archaeologist character's menus.
*~ Fixed: Pirate Treasure quest reward added to Agility, rather than Strength.
*~ Rewards and some dialogs in the Archaeologist quest line have been changed.
*~ Fixed: Herb of Life bonus for carrying a Crocus works all the time after working once.
*~ The Museum can be directly accessed now via the trapdoor in The Labyrinth, if the player still has their Code Disk. This makes it unnecessary to cart around Medusa's Head after the first access for Antiheroes, and possible to access it physically for Archaeologists.
*~ Sapper Charges removed from Artificer's Tools set.
*~ Added new image for Antihero menu.
*~ Added groups of Patchwork as random types of village bandits.
*~ Replaced the Acolyte in Quick Battle "The Walking Undead" with another Patchwork, making 31 total.
*~ "What made you make this decision was... You were convicted of a terrible crime. (???-2,???+4)" added to character creation.
~ Changes the starting location to near Halmar.
~ Starts with your trial, and torture, for one of four crimes committed: murder, robbery, treason or assault.
~ Time will pass as your prison sentence is carried out, first with healing from your maiming injuries, then toiling in Halmar's clay mines, and finally escape.
~ The player character will be a wanted criminal for life - any interaction with manhunter, alchemist, or slayer parties on the map will be met with attempted execution, the choices being surrender or a fight - and if the player loses the fight, the execution will still go forth. Mortal characters can still have a 1 in 6 chance of becoming a Ghost upon execution, and nonmortal characters have their own execution description, resulting in certain death for any nonmortal condition.
~ Being arrested by Town Guards for any reason will also lead to execution.
~ Usherwood becomes the Thieves Den, where you can recruit outlaw troops for 250 denars each. Type of Outlaw available can change every 24 hours.
~ Looter, Sea Raider, Forest Bandit, Mountain Bandit, and Steppe Bandit parties on the map will approach, but then let you go peacefully - honor amongst thieves!
*~ Being caught while graverobbing now gives you a Spade Shovel and Stones to fight the guards with.
*~ Fixed: Surrendering if caught by the guards while Escorting or Chaperoning did not cancel the gathering activity.
*~ Fixed: Graverobbing and Plague rat hunt now drop you at the city gates, requiring you to sneak in each time you use them in a hostile town/castle.
*~ Fixed: Graverobbing, Plague rat hunt, and all professions no longer require money per night.
*~ "Check the time" option moved to just above "Leave" in Town menus.
*~ Executioner characters now receive a Tempered Bastard Sword, instead of Chipped.
*~ Added option to discard your Corpsewife if she has not been completed, to Corpsehusbandry menus. This will force you to start over with all the rituals again, just as if she had decayed entirely.
*~ Fixed: Making a Corpsewife did not remove the Slave Girl from the party.
*~ Fixed: Version name was mislabeled at the end of Usherwood.
* Version 26.13 Dualities*
*~ Rewards from Nikola could be lost on full inventory. Fixed with warning to make inventory space before continuing.
*~ Investigator characters can now gain gold and renown over time, using "Investigate" via Town menus.

*~ Dupin no longer disappears if you don't have him in the party when you speak to the Great Artificer.
*~ Added maximum level for lower tier spawns of Necromancer troops on the main map.
*~ Fixed: Bug preventing more parties of Manhunters, Slayers, and Alchemists from appearing.
*~ Fixed: Game was giving characters Nog and Blood pudding for a birthday on the 13th of Blood Moon, instead of the 12th; this is meant to be a consolation prize for having to wait a whole year for birthday rewards.
*~ When the Infinity Stone is traded to Jakfraust, it will return to the Cup of Hebe eventually.
*~ Lamia and the Undying Sword of Vlad Dracula's Str set to 12 and Agi set to 24.
*~ Crossbones' Str set to 24, and Agi set to 12.
*~ Added stat penalties to Birthsigns:
- The Door, The Dead Tree, The Lunatic: Str-1

- The Writer, The Shroud, The Cannibal: Cha-1
- The Skull, The Doctor, The Raven: Agi-1

*~ Fixed fatal Kafemanteia menu bug.
*~ Whenever The Necropolis is raised, King Ragnar gets Werewolf gear and stat changes, King Yaroglek gets Vampire gear and stat changes, and Sanjar Khan gets full Black Armor.
*~ Ishtar - Courtesan Demon ~ Location: Dugan (Requires the Infinity Stone to recruit)
A:She will randomly add slave girls while in party, and in exchange she will first require horse sacrifice. This will interfere with Fanatic characters' Piety, eventually being lessened only slightly by the next request...
B:Second, human sacrifice, rewarded by the ability to use her as a Courtesan to make money in towns, and she makes twice as much as normal, though success is still based on the player's Strength,as her chaperone.
C:Thirdly, she will introduce the character to true necromancy, or Corpsehusbandry - this will require the ritual slaying of a Slave Girl, to create a "Corpsewife" - she admits to regularly keeping one of her own. Over time, rituals will be done with the body via camp menu, to preserve it and increase a stat difference (raise Intelligence at the cost of Charisma), accompanied by gruesome descriptions (use decaying corpse models for pic subjects).
D:Finally, she will request the ultimate gift... your life and your corpse to be her Corpsewife.
- Accept her offer, and you die permanently
- Refuse her offer, and she will leave you forever, dropping the Infinity Stone at your feet, and infecting you with Black Plague, if possible.
*~ The Easterner - Samurai Ghost Companion - Location: The Faire (If you have not completed the Rising Mist set requirements).
A:He will randomly create Terracotta Warriors, and even more rarely, Terracotta Stars, while in party, and in exchange, he will ask for gifts of Pottery, for sword fighting practice.
B:Second, he will request gifts of Wood, and in exchange, you will also be able to use him for Fishing at villages, and he does so twice as fast as normal, though there is no extra bonus for Game Poacher characters.
C:Thirdly, he will request gifts of Tea Leaves, and in exchange, he will perform Kafemanteia when requested.
D:Finally, he will announce his intent to go back to the Underworld. He will ask for the Eye of Izanagi before he leaves.
- If you have it, and give it to him at this point, he will fill your party with Terracotta Warriors, give you Terracotta Throwing Stars, and cure Blindness if needed (he will be missing from the Faire after this point, and The Rising Mist will be in the chest, without having to unite the Tsukumogami), before disappearing.
- If you don't have it, he will still fill your party with Terracotta Warriors, before disappearing; same results as above, except without Terracotta Throwing Stars.
- Refuse, and he will challenge you in open combat (one on one in a random map battle). Lose, and you die permanently. Win, and he disappears, and you get the Rising Mist set.
*~ Execution Fields are now "old" locations, and only appear on the map when nearby.
*~ Added "Completely Random" character creation choice, from the Gender selection screen.
*~ "Your father was... An archaeologist (Int+1,Cha+2)" added to character creation. Starts the game with decent One-handed Weapon skill, a little Firearms skill, and the Code Disk. Can do special missions for the Graeae at the Museum - this is a huge homage to the game Legacy of the Ancients.
*~ Troubadour characters can play the track Moon Tooth if they have the Code Disk in their inventory, via the x key.
*~ Slightly changed inventories of the chests for the scavenger hunt quest.
*~ Fixed bug where Mopsus, The Reader didn't disappear after dying during an Exorcism.
*~ Sea Raider player characters are now peaceful with Sea Raider parties on the map.
*~ Steppe Bandit player characters are now peaceful with Steppe Bandit parties on the map.
*~ "Omens" added - special birthsigns you only have a 3 in 3000 chance of getting when you create any character:
- "...under the omen of the Mark of the Beast. You bear a birthmark in the shape of the number 666." No Silver Sensitivity for Werewolf characters.
- "...under the omen of the Solar Eclipse. The sun went black at the moment of your birth." No Salt Sensitivity for Vampire characters.
- "...under the omen of the Flood of Heket. A great deluge of rain and frogs fell from the sky on the day you were born." No Iron Sensitivity for Fairy-kin characters.
*~ Doubled time-lapse speed for Meditation and Studying Theories via Man Out of Time.
*~ In-game and forum banner for Antihero changed.
*~ Changed models and textures of Helm of Prometheus, and Skyclad and Skyclad (Female) armors - they all have the "hollow" effect, like shadow troops now, as well.
*~ Warcry command now rebound from "x", to the "f3" charge command. This makes sense; don't know why I didn't do this before.
*~ Visitors to The Faire now get a Bicycle to ride around, making it slightly easier to complete without having to strip off your armor.
*~ Fracture was erroneously referred to as "Shatter" in the Bloodfountain dialogs. Fixed.
*~ Moved Double yield recipe for Blood, for Butcher characters, to the first page of "Rendering" in the Necronomicon. It was preventing the back button from being used in the "Dismember Specific" menu.
*~ Heartbearer added for Undead characters, via Village menu. Permanently cures Permadeath, but in exchange the character must acquire Mumiyo addiction, and keep a Heart and at least one Mumiyo in the Heartbearer - Mumiyo checks will check the Heartbearer instead of the Player Character's inventory - withdrawal means instant death. Creating a Heartbearer requires a Village location, the Heartrender, a Spade Shovel, and 8x Mumiyo.
*~ Models for Great Artificer's Vibroblade and Clamp were slightly offcenter, and the blade was about 75% too big. Fixed.
*~ Mummy's Render renamed to "Mummy's Heartrender".
*~ Undeath characters cannot be saved from Permanent Death by a Philosopher Stone, or The Infinity Stone.
*~ Bug allowed multiple copies of the Iron Cage to be gotten from the Graeae after the Unseelie Court quest was completed. Fixed.
*~ Removed Blindness from The Faire and the Nightmare Realm - these locations essentially only occur in another plane of existence, or in the player character's mind.
*~ Poseidon's Avatar bonus and Sapper Charge penalty moved to the same trigger that checks for wood and ghostwood and Cannibal bonuses, and iron penalties. Avatar check is made first, then Sapper Charges, then the rest.
*~ River Styx Pirates and The Kraken added to list of Salt troop penalties.
*~ Necropolis Arena, Fisdnar, and Tebandra were not added to list of Salt location penalites. Fixed.
*~ Ghostwood Sap was not added to list of Ghostwood item bonuses. Fixed.
*~ Preserved and Putrid Abominatons, created in groups of 10 by University Student and Mortician characters, respectively, were only producing 5 per recipe. Fixed.
*~ Izanagi's Interlude was unplayable in scenes. Fixed.
*~ Chance for Hawkers to add Hawks to the party, for The Easterner to add Terracotta Warriors to the party, and for Ishtar's secrets to attract Slave Girls to the party has been set to the same chance as Blood Experiments: 1 in 3, every 24 hours.
*~ Edited descriptions for Quick Battles.
*~ Murderer Fanatic characters can now chop Galatea into pieces, via her party dialogs, and if they have the Axe of the Black Cat. You will receive her armor pieces and Maxwell's Silver Hammer.
*~ Added taboo against Iron, Blood Iron Bastard Sword, and Slayer's Hand-held Crossbow at the Faire. Rude and vicious comments, and no trading, but no direct references to the reason why.
*~ Random chance to get Fortune back, after losing it while gambling - must lose at Thirteen, with the last roll being a 6. You will also still lose your bet, and have to run from the guards.
*~ Poseidon's Trident now gives +1 to 13 skills.
*~ Added "Stalk human prey" via Camp menu, for Murderer characters. Maneater characters stalk human prey 25% faster.
*~ "You spent your early life as... A munitions worker. (Agi+1,Int+1)" added to character creation. Can craft Munitions via Camp menu, with quality and type based on Engineering skill.
*~ Maneater Mummer characters can use Buxworth's services immediately.
*~ Bandolier max ammo changed to 80. Weight changed to 4.5. Cost changed to 82.
*~ "Your father was... A maneater (Str+2,Cha+1)" added to character creation. Starts the game with high Polearms skill, a Human Corpse, and a War Spear. +25% boost to health during battles if a Human Corpse is in the character's inventory.
*~ Fix Nemesis respawning bug.
*~ Blood Experiments can now only be conducted via Castle menu. Once completed, the troops are still created via Camp menu.
*~ Clocktowers no longer in Castles.
*~ Fixed Jayek was not added to list of special fishing locations bug.
*~ Added very random chance for Fisherman characters, when catching fish at Fenada, Fearichen, Jayek, Fisdnar or Tebandra, to have an encounter in the belly of the Cetus - a gigantic whale. Success means a +1 to Charisma, and River Styx Pirates will never spawn again. Failure means certain death.
*~ Added sensitivity to the Blood Iron Bastard Sword, for Fairy-kin characters.
*~ Removed Polehammer and practice Throwing Daggers from items - they are not used.
*~ Added White Owl Familiar, for those born on the 23rd of Locust Moon.

Can create Bicycles via camp menu, based on Engineer skill, if they have Torque equipped or in inventory - and Wood, Iron, Tools, Furs, and Oil. Can do Tinkering in Towns, based on Engineer skill, if they have Torque.
