I haven't seen him lately and frankly I don't feel like taking initiative because I don't wanna receive a dozen of "oh no, the mod autoupdated, my saves don't work, curse you developers" comments the next day.
At least on moddb everyone manually and consciously downloads the update after (I hope) thoroughly reading the file description and the changelog.

Whats the point of a javelin troop like the cretan guys if they have a chance of spawning without the JAVELINS???
What made you think they're a "javelin troop"?
Maybe they're just polearm infantry with a rare extra bonus in form of javelins?
The whole cretan faction has no point in the game. Their units are abysmal, why not balance it out to actually have a reason to play these guys?

While I'm not a big fan of Cretas myself, it seems to be the most commonly mentioned faction in there. In particular, people love their ironclads and horsehunters.
E.g. "northguard" (Maccavian Northguards) is mentioned 46 times, "kingsman" is mentioned 48 times, "guardsman" (Perisno Guardsmen or Iron Guardsmen) is mentioned 31 times, and "ironclad" is mentioned 227 times and not in a bad way.

for some reason it doesn't appear in my warband mods selection, i downloaded it by the minor link.
My game just closes down when I enter the shops. Also it freezes when the last enemy troop is killed. (Only fought a small bandit party, but the moment I slashed the last guy, the game just froze.)
Playing on a Mac.. maybe I just cant handle the mod.. I love it though, looks absolutely amazing.
Yeah, Mac seems to be "allergic" to a few things in Perisno and Warband in general.
As for shops - try checking "enable old trade screen" in mod settings in camp.
As for battles - uhmm, I don't even know what could be causing this. IIRC, we don't even use any new operations / complex features there.

I downgraded to 0.7 and I am able to play, so I'm already happy. Thank you for the tips though! I've read somewhere that maybe it's the sheer amount of items in the game, but oh well.. Best of luck for the next updates!!

There's an issue with the bounty hunting quests, when I trie to interract with the nervous man he ask if his commander sent me and thats it, no fight, so cant finish the quest, this has happened multiple times now
Also, even with formations disabled they still go into formation, pretty annoying, please fix
Also could u give us the option to disable horse archer AI?
What's wrong with it?
The infantry will stay in huddled balls and move like a hive mind despite having formations turned off and with the horse archer Ai they run to the end of the map and get stuck and stay there so u get these battles where nothing is really happening

Serin castle right ladder is bugged. Im the sieger and my troops cant walk in
Has the large bounty quest from the tavern keepers been removed? I don't seem to get the option any more.
Also please fix the venetor empire quest, I should have my army with me not just three guys, also they can shoot through the walls where I cant see them. Also, should be able to use the mini map!

So I've almost completed the Venetor Empire quest, I need to go talk to the guy in Krain, I saved just before but now everytime I try to load save the game crashes
Literally cant play my saved game, wont be playing again until new version.
I hope there's a fix for this, getting so far in a difficult mod just for it to not work is gay
Never play on automatic saves, save manually, slowly (without haste) and in different slots. Ideally, when you're not on the global map, but inside a scene (tavern, castle, etc.). Never save while your party is moving.
The saving issues have nothing to do with any particular mod, it's an engine thing.
My party was static though, wasnt moving, never had native or any mod crash like this while loading a save.
Also what caused my game to crash in the first place was that I clicked on the abandoned settlement after defending it, after that the save wouldn't load and just crashed
It's not because you clicked on it, it's because you acted too fast in general.
I had the same happen to me once. I defeated an overwhelming Zann army and immediately saved, hastily, then immediately clicked on a nearby town to go sell loot&prisoners;. The mod crashed and the save file got broken.
Because the game didn't have enough time to save it, to correctly process everything.
Fortunately, I had other saves because I'm well-aware of history of broken save files people reported all over Warband mods and Native.
But you seem to be completely oblivious about it, so sure, keep blaming the first person you see instead of trying to understand what they're telling you and to learn so that it doesn't happen in the future.
Yes, in a way the mod has an impact on crashes. We don't have any access at all to engine save/load algorithms, but the bigger the mod is, the more time saving takes, the more resources the mod requires. And if handled impatiently and inconsiderately, it is much more prone to ctds. Want to avoid it? Go play Native or any other mod that's as small as possible, not a mod with tons of content that pushes engine limits.
Of course, its 100% the games fault, not the mod at all
Like I already said, the mod's only fault is its sheer size.
Do you even know that, for example, weapons in range 2504-2522 cause ctds? Native doesn't have that many items so this problem never affects it but it does affect larger mods.
Do you know that the only change - reducing texture detail to 50% - suddenly makes very frequent ctds disappear (at least on some PCs)?
And just last night I talked to a streamer who said he never ever experienced a single ctd in any version of Perisno (if the mod is to blame, how come it didn't affect him?).
I've been studying the ctds issue for years, talk to a bunch of other modders, ran hundreds of controlled tests, and you think you know this area better than me?
You know what? Get your whiny *** the hell out of here. I gave you a chance to listen. I patiently tried to explain how things work and teach you what simple rules you have to follow to play and enjoy the mod without ctds and corrupted saves. Rules, that have been established, tested, proven and followed over the years by many different people.
But of course you think you know better.
For everyone who actually wants to play the mod, all sorts of important technical and gameplay advice are posted and updated by me on the forum, in the main thread, the link to which is posted in the file's description here (and I expect any reasonable and responsible person to read it before playing the mod, just like one is supposed to read a manual before using a device they just bought). But for everyone who just wants to whine and teach me how this game works (despite having 0 modding experience in M&B) - I'm tired of individually explaining to your kind why you're rarted.
wierd... Nobody seems to be mentioning this but for me all the nobles at the Elintor faction have unfamiliar titles and names.

When remus tells your to go talk to archduke methenor a message, I found out that all the nobles had "artanher" or "anher" as their titles, and had different names. Nobody had the name of methenor so I figure that either the devs changed the lord name and titles but didn't change some of the quest dialogue? or I have corrupt files.
Also princess birgit usually rides this red dragon around, but she didn't seem to have it so I looked around the 'find item' and discovered that the dragons had been removed. Didn't seem to be in the changelog so mebbe a bug?
Yep, the titles were renamed to be somewhat more "elvish".
Names haven't changed since... I don't know if they ever changed though.
Methenor is supposed to be Artanher, unless he was already exiled or left to join another faction. Then he could be anyone.
Your files should be fine.
Dragons were removed for multiple legal, technical and lore reasons. That change is covered in the changelog as "[Added/Reworked/Removed] Several items;".

You know how there are two large empty islands on the west side of the map? Well I have an idea, you can either: create a new faction or two for those areas. Or have a bunch of hidden abandon cities and castles that the player can restore and control for themselves if you met certain conditions such as having a 150 renown or the right to rule being at a certain level.
If I had a dollar every time someone wanted a new faction, I would be a millionaire.;)
But no, we're not adding any more factions.
Oh well, thanks for letting me know. What about that abondoned settlement idea i mentioned?
The idea is good but mod development is pretty much over.
There will be some hotfixes/patches, minor changes, but nothing big.
