Eastern Europe 1259 is a total conversion mod designed for enthusiasts of historical accuracy and immersive gameplay.
Set against the tumultuous backdrop of Eastern Europe in the mid-13th century, this mod plunges players into a period rife with conflict, cultural shifts, and significant historical events.

Historical Accuracy
This mod strives for historical accuracy, but as I'm not a historian, some inaccuracies may exist.
I welcome feedback and I am ready to make corrections where necessary.

General
• Geographically and historically (as much as possible) accurate settlements, rivers, forest, swamps
• Historical figures with hand-crafted faces
• Custom items
• Custom troop trees (rework incoming based on De Re Military logic)
• 2 Custom Castles with Lord Halls: Voruta and Grod Jazdow (Rositten)
• Custom AI artwork/screens
Recruitment / Troops
• Need good relations (+20) with the owner of the settlement to be allowed to recruit
• No recruitment in the enemy's settlements
• Can hire troops in castles
• AI visits castles to hire troops/leave prisoners
• Baltic/Rus elites can only be hired in castles
• Teutonic Knights can only be recruited in Teutonic Towns governed by Teutonic Order
• Adjusted volunteers and Militia spawning rate for balancing
• Crusader units lower party morale if player is of Baltic culture (historical accuracy)
Governors
• Notables in castles
• Notables can be assigned as governors to Towns/Castles
• Governor automatically takes grain from the Stash to the Granary if settlement is almost out of food
Relations
• Separate relations with each lord (True Noble Opinion)
• Relation changes on assigning a governor / settlement under siege / starving / low loyalty
• Relation increase if captured hero is released right after the battle (+5)
• Decreased relation gain for the donated lord (was 20..40++, now 5)
• Prisoner transfer to any notable via dialog for a relation increase and town/village growth
Minor Clans
• Oeselians, Latgalians, Livonians, Selonians
Quality of Life Improvements
• Hideouts can be attacked any time
• Increased available money in towns to avoid problems selling loot
• Smiting Stamina regenerates when traveling
• Relation change popup converted to simple log message without the annoying sound
Other
• Cows in the main party produce butter every other day :)

• Uses Orbis Terrae Armarium, Calradic Armoury UNDER REWORK WIP and Vaegir Armoury.
Not Compatible Mods
• AdonnaysTroopChanger - overwrites recruitment logic
• Banner Kings
• Warfare - crash
• Any other total conversion/overhaul mod
Installation
• Delete ALL 5 folders of the previous version, starting with LT_EE1259_...
• Download new version
• Extract to /Modules folder ONLY with 7-Zip (do not use Zip/Rar/etc to avoid blocked DLL problem!)
• All 5 mod's folders should be in the /Modules folder, not somewhere else
• Make sure no mod in the "Not Compatible Mods" list is enabled
• Your load order should look like this:
