Calradia 1050 A.D.: Mercenary Uprising is a single-player mod for Mount & Blade Warband 1.166 and higher. Calradia 1050 A.D. Mercenary Uprising V. 3.0 is built on the following major modifications for Warband: *Diplomacy 4.2. *Pre-Battle Orders and Deployment (PBOD).92 including Formations. *Freelancer 1.51. (with several fixes from Floris 2.55 and some modified code by me). *JacobHinds improved morale and routing system code. *Three added factions (Keltons, Khergiz, and Geroians). *My own modification of troop recruiting including town and castle recruitment and manor recruitment as well as customizable troops and extensively re-worked faction troops. *** The mod also includes several popular OSP kits and codes, including bridge battles, tavern animations, banking, outposts, recruitment from castles, and the salt mine. *** The mod has added a good number of armor, weapons, and horses from various OSPs as well as many of my own work.

I just opened the game, most armours are missing textures, making you look like a floating head, then crashed on entry to Jelkala's Tavern. Anyone else got this?

That is odd. I have tested this version quite thoroughly and checked for missing textures. Does the rgl_log.txt have any information that might be useful?

Delighted to see an update to this great mod - Can't wait to get stuck in ...

Update: A great mod whilst you are a vasal, but somewhat falls apart when you create your own kingdom - At this point, the recruitment of troops from your towns and castles stops working, so you are reduced to recruiting levy troops from your villages

As I recall, it may take a few game days to be able to recruit your faction troops from towns and castles. Let me know if it still doesn't work.

The problem still persists after many days/weeks - If you try to recruit 4 soldiers from towns & castles, it subtracts the money, and adds 4 to the company total, but doesn't actually give you any new troops

I will start a new position, and see if I get the same results/problem

Thanks for the information. I haven't been able to reproduce this issue at home. Is there an opcode error that shows up for you? It could be onscreen or in the rgl_log.txt in the main Warband directory.

I fixed this with Patch 1. Thanks for letting me know about it. I have been working on the big update and discovered that I had fixed the problem in the update.

Many thanks for this patch/fix - I had started a new position, and encountered the same problem, so am delighted to see that there is now a fix for this - Onwards and upwards

Yeah, I screwed it up when I took out the starting quest for version 4. All I had to do was put the quest back in and it worked but unfortunately, required a new game to see it.

Are you saying that it still asks for the Viking Conquest serial key?

I haven't made a Spanish translation but I expect the Spanish translation for Warband should work. I don't know the first thing about how to enable it.

Hello, awesome mod but renaming module_ALT.ini on this new version is not doing anything for me, it still asks for the Viking Conquest serial key :/

Hello, great mod. I have noticed in comparison to 3.0, in 4.0 my troops seem to prematurely engage the enemy after I give them move commands when holding F1. So instead of holding close to the enemy they will advance to attack even though they are still quite some distance from the enemy. It seems to happen regardless of what PBOD settings I have enabled/disabled. Is this normal?

I haven't made any changes to the PBOD or AI that would have impacted this. The only thing I can think of is that the movement flag was placed close enough to the enemy for your troops to "think" that you have ordered them to attack that division.

Also, if you don't give your troops the "hold" order in PBOD they will sometimes move forward to engage.

I figured the PBOD wasn’t changed from last time and yeah I know it sounds like I’m just placing the movement flag too close but it really seems like it’s not close at all at least in my opinion. I’ll have to try to give the hold order in PBOD to see if that helps. Also, what PBOD settings do you recommend running? And is special orders still recommended to have disabled? Thank you.

I think you can use special orders if you want to. I haven't noticed any issues with it lately. Also, perhaps the most important setting is to use the AI formations rather "native with AI formations." Native with AI formations doesn't seem to work very well. I enable the other orders that are at the top of the menu.

I keep getting an error message saying "error loading postfx shaders. Make sure you have the latest DirectX Runtime Library installed" almost as soon as I start the mod up. It's happened when trying to enter a tavern, leaving town, entering a battle, and going into the marketplace. I'm going to try and install WSE2 and see if that fixes it, but figured it was worth mentioning since it keeps happening.

That is a new one to me. Did you try to reinstall the mod, including the hotfix? Also, are you using Warband 1.174?
