Alright, I took my time playing today and here's what I noticed.
First of all, randomers and spawnkillers. I hope the new patch will make it easier for admins so they don't have to use polls to kick and ban people. I spent about 15 minutes getting people safely out of spawn (which failed cause there were not enough of us against all the spawnkillers). The server got reset twice while I was playing.
After the reset everything went back to normal.... for about a minute. FPS was 30-50 until Russians started making Forges (which don't need any resources!!). Then after the second reset, me and a group of about 5 people set out to make a peaceful fort and live in harmony. That didn't work out either, cause of the Russians. I wasn't paying much attention to the chat while gathering resources and setting up our base with some nice folk, until I started noticing some Miluting guy being very racist against Germans, calling admins Nazies etc. Anyway, after some while, that Miluting dude shouted that all land behind the crossing is Russian and everyone who go there are shot on sight.
Well that's where our problem started - Me and my group were playing in Russian land for half an hour already. We decided to free the lands of the cruel foes and set out to attack them. I raised my pickaxe to show that we're serious, but Milutin started shooting me as soon as he saw me. Fortunately, our snipers took him out within seconds. I then realized that in order to survive, we need a Well (40 cobble, 10 wood). I, as the miner, started gathering cobblestone while my villagers were delivering it to our fort. But sadly, some Russians came there and killed me and some my mates.
As a side note, I must confess, when I saw that the guy who had killed me had me on his aim, I didn't say anything but just shot him, I was too frustrated.
I respawned and went back, then Billy said that we can't carry 40 cobblestone, that 20 is max, which kinda ruined our plans to build the well. Then I got randomed again (by a Russian) and it took me couple tries to get out of spawn. By then, some idiots had spawned so much forges that my FPS was on 6-8 and I quit.
In conclusion, nice mod, crap playerbase, huge potential, looking forward to the next patch.
