6 мало известные любовные романчики, коих любили писать в то время, где упомянуты именно эти штаны

А почему они должны это делать, если Docm (ВНИМАНИЕ!) просит НЕ УПОМИНАТЬ ММ (или NW) в своем треде на ТВ?

Эээ... ммм... какой второй выстрел? Все стволы стреляли одновременно.

А я думал это чтобы не перезаряжать. Проще мушкетон с картечью взять, он заряжается быстрее.

Any hoo, I've been real busy lately and haven't had much to time work on the mod, and much of the time I did have I spent making something for Shadows in the Desert. I have, however, had some time to finish these uniforms up. So I present to you, the Russian Line Infantry! or some of it at least.

I wasn't going to show these quite yet, but I figured it's been awhile since I've had a big update so I may aswell.

In these screenshots you'll see both Musketeers and Grenadiers of the Russian Empire. Musketeers are the ones with a single pinecone on the shako, grenadiers have three pinecones. For these screenshots all the musketeers are in tunics and all the grenadiers greatcoats, but in the mod both will have a mix of the two.

And before anyone asks any of the questions I know someone will, I will answer them.

Where are the shako cords/knapsack cross strap/gaiter-trousers?
The mod starts in April 1809 and attempts to be accurate to that date. Shako cords and the knapsack strap hadn't been issued at this time, and the gaiters trousers were only worn from about June to September (i.e. summer). You're stuck with these weird built-in-boots-trousers.

Where are the swords?
Not made yet.

When's the mod out?
Go to hell.

This won't come as much of a surprise, but I've made some Pavlov Grenadiers!

You know, I thought that mitre looked sort of silly before, but seeing a company of them bayonetting some French stragglers. Well, it was glorious.

Anyway, I've made a Russian company officer circa April 1809, after company-grade officers were ordered to wear knapsacks whenever the troops do, but before they were ordered to wear shakoes.

Anyway, here's a Field-grade officer.

The medals are the Orders of St George, St Andrew and Maria Theresa (the austrian one).

Now for some Russian cavalry, as I said I'd show. Here are a few shots of some Dragoons and Cuirassiers (in green and white, respectively).

They are using French weapons/horses and Austrian overalls for now, so don't bother to point out that they're wrong.

Before you ask, those cobalt trousers were never worn on campaign. One has to wonder why they were even issued in the first place.

Now that we're on the subject of sergeants, here's a foot guard grenadier sergeant. I haven't made a spontoon yet, though.
