The reason they are towards the back of the horse is because I think he is on a hill, and that happens when a player is mounted and on a horse.

That's precisely the reason he's sitting in an odd spot.

Anyway, I've been coding mostly these last days, but I spent a day making the Guard Cossack officer's uniform. I also tweaked the trooper's coat a bit and made the trousers much baggier. There's a field-officer's version with fringed epaulettes, too.

As I said earlier, I rather like the Guard Cossack officer's uniforms---I like uniforms that are fairly modern looking yet still have a bit of old-fashioned style. The baggy pants are pretty wicked, too.

...Will there be any melee only infantry in the mod?...

None that I can think of.

Speaking of, will there be something like revolutions?

Basics first, my man, basics first. Which is to say: not now, maybe later.

Anyway, I put the finishing touches on the Garde-Chevaulegers von Hessen-Darmstadt. I don't particularly care for their choice of headgear, but that's one fancy-ass coat. The brown leather looks right stylish along side the green and black of the coat, too.

That's one more thing crossed off my list.

If a modder requested your permission and credited you and the mod would you allow them to rig and use the mods uniform and weapon assets for other game mods like Oblivion/Skyrim?

The use of the mod's content is something I'd have to judge on a case by case basis. That said, I highly doubt it would be easy to get my stuff into Skyrim---it'd need to be heavily modified to fit the skeleton.

Sorry for the string of posts in the last couple weeks, but as you can tell my excitement for the mod grows with each passing week.  Now to my inquiry,  will there be any variations in the factions?  For instance, as an officer of Russia, will one be able to recruit large numbers of raw recruits from villages cheaply, or as an English officer, your commission larger (to simulate wealth of Great Britain) so you can recruit better quality troops, or as a French officer, recruit more and better troops cheaply (reflect conscription and better military doctrines)?  Appearantly this mod did something similar: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,161489.msg4173241.html#msg4173241

That's something I've considered and continue to consider.

Anyway, being a light infantry inclined chap it's been bothering me just how g'dang ugly the French light infantry (who were the best dressed of the light infantry) uniforms were, and they certainly didn't match the quality of the officer's uniforms, so I couldn't help but redo them. I think it was worth it, as they now look fairly spiffy. Take a look.

I haven't been able to work on the mod much lately, which is why it's been quiet, and most of what I have been working on isn't very interesting. I should hopefully have some more stuff I want to show soon, though.

Это Бильбо. Я узнал его по мохнатым ногам. Последнее Бильбо в Париже.

Мод обещает быть эпичным. До сих пор, моды не вызывали у меня такого тягостного ожидания. Графика на некоторых скринах может потягаться с некоторыми современными проектами. Во общем, ждем.
P.S Хотя, именно это ожидание, собирание маленьких частиц информации, и в конечном итоге, создание своего мнения и представления об игре\моде круче итога.
